Fishing and Life as We Know It

Posted by Sean McCullough on

When the stress of life was weighing upon me, my family would say..." you need to go stand in a river". In Colorado close to my house there is a great place to stand in the river, and if I had the right fly at the right time at the right location, the thrills of catching a beauty made life great at that time. No technology. No cell phone. No hurry. Just a fly rod and my old school vest and waders and my Golden Retriever.

A couple of years ago I had the thrill of catching a 6' Lemon Shark in the Gulf of Mexico. But I was also with one of my brothers, and nephew, and some friends, making it all worthwhile. A Getaway. A challenge. Friends. Family. Fun.

Fishing is about that. Fishing Monsters is about that.

From beautiful trout being pulled out of a river and pictured on Instagram and Facebook to bikini-clad beauties holding up a Bass, or Redfish for a great picture, to kids showing their first trophy, to men proudly showing their 10.3 lb Haaaaaawwwgg!!

We will offer some stories, and knowledge, and apparel, and why you should use a certain bait to catch that Walleye, and don't forget to clean your crankbait, and please offer tips and stories of your own, and don't forget to call your Mom.

Let's have fun. Let's share fish stories and get to know one another. Let's put the job and the hassles of life behind us, and let's go stand in a river.
